We will notify you of any policy changes. Please subscribe to receive updates. If you have any question, please reach out to us at ChineseStudioPlus@gmail.com.
To ensure a successful learning environment, students must have:
A stable high-speed internet connection.
A working webcam and microphone: Video is mandatory, as instructors rely on visual cues to correct pronunciation and mouth positioning.
A Personal Google Account: Required to access course materials in Google Classroom. Note: Please use a personal email address (e.g., ending in @gmail.com). Do not use a school-issued email account, as school districts often restrict students from joining external classrooms.
We want to ensure The Chinese Studio Plus is the right fit for you.
Full Refund: You can request a full refund at any time before the start of your second lesson. If you feel the studio is not meeting your needs after the first class, simply let us know.
No Refund: Tuition is non-refundable once the second lesson has started.
How to Request: Please email refund requests to ChineseStudioPlus@gmail.com. Please include the student's name and course title.
Due to the scheduled nature of our program, we do not offer make-up classes for student absences.
Resources: If you miss a class, you will still have full access to that week's materials and assignments via Google Classroom. This allows you to keep up with your studies, and you are welcome to reach out to your instructor for any clarification.
Instructor Cancellations: In the rare event that an instructor must cancel a session, we will organize a make-up class. If a make-up class cannot be scheduled, a pro-rated refund for that specific session will be issued.
Material requirements vary by course.
Some courses use a physical textbook (available on Amazon), while others rely entirely on digital resources provided in Google Classroom.
Please check the specific Course Description during registration to see if a textbook purchase is required.
Classes start promptly at the scheduled time. If a student is late, the missed time cannot be made up at the end of the session.
To maximize focus, we ask that students join from a quiet environment free from distractions (no background TV, etc.). Students should be seated and ready to learn, just as they would be in a physical classroom.
